'A Toolkit for Gender Advocacy' is a resource developed to support community organisations and individuals who want to advocate directly to parliamentarians on issues around gender equity.
The booklet is a collection of practical tips and policy building advice drawn from the wisdom and experiences of parliamentarians and advocates. This toolkit was prepared by Joanna Richards, a PhD student at the University of Canberra, whilst seconded to the office of Andrew Leigh MP.
Poyo worked with the office of Andrew Leigh MP to develop a contemporary design for the booklet, balancing engaging visuals with clear communication.
The use of bright illustrations and icons ensures that the booklet is a welcoming and approachable resource, to encourage people with little experience in policy and advocacy to feel comfortable in using this toolkit.
