Poyo was approached by electronic artist Nadia Drof to illustrate the cover of the EP 'Final Asylum'. One of the main themes of the EP is around the struggle of living with mental illness. Poyo worked with Nadia Drof to develop a concept for the the cover which focussed on this theme, whilst also incorporating Nadia Drof's brand aesthetic. Another source of inspiration was films set in gritty landscapes, with protagonists who must persevere against adversity and their own fears and anxiety – dark science fiction such as Alien, Blade Runner and Escape from New York. A considered combination of contrasting textures, bold colours and engaging composition was used to help the cover stand out on digital music platforms such as iTunes and Spotify.
